How much do you know about American Pocket Bully?

General Appearance – The American Pocket Bully (AB) is compact, powerful, muscular, massive with an emphasis on muscle mass, substance, girth and with heavy bone. The AB is a powerful, athletic, intelligent, solidly built, short-coated dog with extraordinary bone, muscle mass and muscle definition.

The American Bully adult comes in three varieties, XL, Standard and Pocket.  Each size is a variety and is judged in classes according to size measured at the withers.  All varieties of American Bullies are judged to same ABBA standard.  The ABBA standard requires that all the individual characteristics of the dog must be in proportion to each other and the dog as a whole.

XL variety dogs must be 20 inches or taller at the withers. (longer legs, backs, necks in proportion to the rest of the features and a rangier appearance is acceptable)

Standard variety dogs are between 17 and 20 inches tall at the withers.

Pocket variety dogs are 17 inches and under at the withers. (shorter, less graceful strides and slightly less flexibility is acceptable)

The winner of each adult size division (XL, Standard, Pocket) compete against the best puppy winner for Best Male or Best Female and the winner earns a major win.
